Brunswick Baroque at Macedon

I had a wonderful time performing with Brunswick Baroque
at Church of the Resurrection in Macedon today.
Who knows performing Baroque pieces could be so much fun! :)

I was playing the continuo while the gents sang or played the violin. I must say, at first I was not quite sure with only the bass line written in the score, but it turned out that there were so much possibilities that I could do! Loving the freedom and improvisation involved :)

It is always a pleasure to work with
highly talented professional musicians with light spirit and wonderful character.
A big thank you to the gents for trusting me to support Brunswick Baroque.

Looking forward to the next fun gig! :)

Peccator videbit - Vivaldi
Gulliver suite TWV 40:108 - Telemann
Interrote Speranza - Monteverdi
O beatae viae - Monteverdi
Let us wander - Purcell
Rosary Sonatas: X. The Crucifixion - H.I.F Biber
Prelude and Fugue in C, BWV 549 - Bach
Anima mea liquefacta est - Schutz

After the concert, we spent sometime to chat with the very supportive audience.
We met Jean who previously lived in Jakarta and travel around Indonesia around 1940s.
Even mum was not born yet :)
It was amazing to know that Jean remembers some Indonesian words!
It was lovely to meet the audience, looking forward to seeing them again in November!
