St John Passion: First Rehearsal

A small portable continuo organ built by Henk Klop, Garderen, The Netherlands.

I survived at the first rehearsal with the soloists as well as The Scots' Church Choir and Orchestra, going through almost a 2-hour program. I dedicated hourS of practice to make sure that I am extra ready, as this is my first time playing the continuo part in an oratorio.
(I sang in the choir at last year's event.)

I'm blessed to be surrounded constantly by highly experienced musicians and singers. I learned so much from hearing them sing and play as well as their suggestions and encouragement.

We have one last rehearsal tonight before our first performance at
The Basilica of St. Mary of the Angels, Geelong on Wednesday at 8pm and then at Scots' Church on Friday at 8pm!
