2021 ORGAN RECITALS

After a long year in 2020 without any concerts, finally 2021 starting to build up! Actually, with Scots' Church choir, we recorded Bach's Cantata 61 in 2020. Click here to watch the video

There are 2 concerts lined up so far, which i'm looking forward to perform! I must say, having a no-longer-newborn-baby who is now 6 month old is challenging to juggle practice and life. But, we must adapt and hopefully he'll be inspired to become a musician one day :)

Concert 1: THE SPIRIT OF EASTER

Concert 2: GRAND ORGAN RECITAL

Bach: Herr, unser Herrscher

In the past, by this time i'll be in the middle of my organ continuo preparation to perform Bach's St John Passion on Good Friday at Scots' Church... which sadly, is not going to happen this year to COVID-19.

So I decided to dig up our past performances and bring back good memories. Here is the opening Chorus:

Herr, unser Herrscher, dessen Ruhm in allen Landen herrlich ist!
Lord, our ruler, whose glory is magnificent everywhere!

Elgar - Nimrod (Rieger Organ)

3 months ago, the Senior Minister requested to play this piece as the postlude for his last service before moving back to Scotland.

Little did I know 3 months later the church services (possibly around the world) are cancelled indefinitely due to COVID-19.

I never thought that church services and other music performances could be cancelled and affected many musicians around the world....

Stay strong and stay home everyone!
We'll get through this together....
